The Author: Emma Bahr

I was born in North Dakota but grew up in Wisconsin. I married my husband, Zach, in 2022. We welcomed our beautiful daughter, Hadley, in 2023. Hadley inspired this book, which I wrote while I was rocking her to sleep. When I am not working part-time as a nurse, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my free time, I've ventured into writing, never imagining id end up authoring a children's book-but here we are! Becoming a parent is such a special experience, I hope you enjoy this book!

I was born in Wisconsin, USA, spent my childhood in Bolivia and studied in Spain before settling in the United Kingdom. My illustration career started while I studied for my degrees in Fine Art and Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Now I work from my home studio in Leicester, England, where I live with my husband, Sam, and my cat, Mozie. In my free time, I garden, spend time outdoors, and get involved with my church, neighbors, and the local community.
